In saying that, I have developed my own natural style - conversational, relaxed, and a little bit cheeky - which was right up Sophie and Jay’s alley for their ceremony at The Pagoda Resort and Spa, located in Como, just south of Perth.
What happens in case of an emergency and you can’t make it on the day?
I get asked this question a lot, and it’s a good one. As part of my process, I usually create backup documents that I can pass on to another authorised celebrant in case of emergency.

What if I don’t really want to bring two witnesses with us on the day?
Sometimes it’s too hard to choose who to include in such a special moment, or maybe you want to avoid drama or keep things secret for the time being. Trust me, I get it.
How long do your ceremonies go for?
For a full service wedding, I find the sweet spot is around 20 minutes. Less than that, and it can sometimes feel a bit rushed, while anything beyond 30 minutes may start to feel a bit drawn out. There’s no right or wrong, and I’ll happily work in with what you need. Elopements and legals only registry style weddings are even shorter, and the price reflects that
