Jo and Kelly’s DIY wonderland at Baldivis Farm Stay
When Kelly and Jo picked their wedding date – 10.10.2020 – they knew it was going to be popular, so they wasted no time locking in their bridal dream team.
With its rustic charm, understated elegance and endless possibilities, both knew they were onto a good thing when they booked Baldivis Farm Stay.
With the venue sorted, the vision started coming together, and there was no one they trusted more than Kat from Red Eclectic to capture all the love, laughter, and carefully thought out details in photos they’ll treasure forever.
Knowing they wanted a light hearted, relaxed ceremony, Kat suggested the brides meet with me, and from the first meeting, it was like we had been friends for years… so they asked me to stay on as master of ceremonies!
Acclaimed performer Ezereve was brought on board to deliver a modern, acoustic take on some of Jo and Kelly’s favourite songs during the ceremony and reception.
In a nod to Kelly’s Japanese heritage, the pair incorporated tiny paper cranes (crafted by Mel from 22folds) into their décor and floral arrangements (by Bell Floral Design), which complemented the attire by Denise Wright Bridal and Utopia Bridal, and jewellery from Soklich & Co.
As for the food, Cicciobello Pizza delivered the goods, alongside vegan sweets from Crunchbox, macarons from the famous Maison Saint-Honore and an epic creation by Hummingbird Cakes, topped with a custom statuette by Cake Flourish Co – all placed upon stands and boards handmade by Rustic Chix.
And memories of what was an incredible evening will live on in the thoughtful choice of guest favours – small packets of seeds from Lucinda’s Everlastings.
