Generally, an elopement doesn’t require a rehearsal. I bring a smaller sound system (for music, if you want it) and the ceremony I write for you is a surprise on the day for maximum “aww” factor.

There’s a good reason - we all offer different things. There is no right or wrong, it’s about finding the right balance for you. Some celebrants at the luxury end of the market offer some thoughtful extras, like a custom CD of ceremony music or keepsake vow cards by expert calligraphers. On the more budget friendly side, celebrants may perform a number of ceremonies in a row, or ask you to choose from a handful pre-written ceremonies and slot your names in as appropriate.
